Build Your Own Watch - I39 Cases

Alexander James’ started his journey modding Seikos, and eventually transitioned to using his own cases and dials in the Legacy Collection. These homages used Seiko’s workhorse NH35 movement. Including some favorites from Alexander James Watches’ early days, the Legacy Collection ensured that the original work that Alexander did is not forgotten. While growing his inventory of parts, Alexander decided to offer completely custom watches based on customer preferences on the "Built By" product page. This "Built By" feature, however, was cumbersome to keep in sync with the latest and greatest parts. So now, a fully custom watch can be built by using the Assembly Page.

 

    
Seiko NH Movement
The custom watches use an automatic movement with a hacking seconds hand from the family of Seiko's workhouse movements, the NH series. The NH series comes with date and no date versions, so depending on the dial selected, the appropriate movement will be used. These movements are extremely reliable with 24 jewels and 21,600 BPH.

Stainless Steel Case
Each AJuiceT case that is used for custom watches uses 316L Stainless Steel. If the finish is not silver, then it also has an additional, durable PVD coating for the finish. Each case comes with a see through case back, that lets you see the movement powering the watch! These cases are also rated for 10ATM

Dials and Hands
There are a variety of dials and hand combinations to choose from. Most use BGW9 or C1 lume, so that lume as as white as possible in the day light.
