DCP232 - Polished GMT Case
DCP232 - Polished GMT Case
This is a 3 o'clock case various Seiko movements including the NH34. The case has a 37.4mm diameter when fully assembled and very similar to the SKX023 cases. While it does take design cues from the SKX023, the parts are not compatible. This version comes with the pictured bezel and bezel insert and customer selected crown, along with the appropriate gaskets, a solid case back and an installed crystal. The bezel insert is a Matte Black ceramic insert, which uses BGW9 lume. Case specifications are below:
Case Material: 316L Stainless Steel
Finishing: Polished
Case Diameter: 37.4mm (with bezel)
Case Thickness: 12.1mm (with bezel at edge)
Lug to Lug Height: 44.7mm
Lug Width: 20mm
Caseback Screw down, solid , Polished Finish
Water Resistance 20ATM with proper assembly
Included:
- Case w/ installed double domed sapphire crystal (blue AR coating on the underside; note that because it is a double domed crystal, the thickness is taller towards the center of the watch)
- Matching caseback
- Gasket for caseback
Compatibility:
These cases are compatible with the following:
- Seiko automatic movements: 7s26, 7s36, 7s25, 7s35, 6r15, 4r15, 4r35, 4r36 (and NH/NE equivalents)
- 28.5mm dials
- Bezels: N/A
- Bezel Inserts: N/A
- Crowns: AJuiceT DCSxxx and DCTxxx crowns and SKX013 Crowns
Note: These are designed for using the gray spacer that typically comes in Seiko movements like the NH34 and do not require a chapter ring. These bezels and inserts will come installed. If you do not want the bezels installed, please send me a message before your order is placed.
Special note for this specific case: These bezels are sized differently than the standard AJuiceT bezels, so are not compatible with any other AJuiceT inserts. This GMT case uses friction and is bi-directional, rather than using the clickspring. If using it with a bracelet, I noticed that the edges of the end links need to be filed away slightly, otherwise the bezel will rub up against it, and making it much more difficult to move.
